Have you ever wanted to be a veterinarian? I’m pretty sure it was every little kid’s dream job. But most people chose a different path once they found out how difficult it is.
That’s why I decided to actually break down the cost/benefit analysis in this video. I found a REAL job posted on a job board, and created a basic budget so you can see whether the numbers really work in a real-world case – even WITH student loans!
The results really surprised me, but they also undermined a few important details. For example, it’ll be difficult to balance multiple financial priorities while on a veterinarian salary. You’ll have to pick and choose whether to save for retirement, buy a house, support a family, or pay off your student loans faster.
And if you’re interested in the student loan calculator I used in this video, here it is.
Veterinarian student loans are hella expensive. Even if you don’t have six-figure student loan debt, it can be hard to manage. If you want some help with getting out of your student loan debt sooner, check out my free four-day video course – Plan Your Escape From Debt.
